The quay area is an obvious choice when visiting Poole, but please don't restrict yourself to this area only. There are some lovely restaurants tucked away. The Guildhall Tavern, Isabel's Brasserie and Nusara Thai are three that spring to mind.

We had a lovely meal at Anemos Greek Restaurant on the quay. Its very spacious so didnt have a problem getting a table.

Head to the Quay. There iare lots of choices, but often very busy, especially on a sunny day. Also the High Street has lots of restaurants and bar food. The Rope and Anchor has new owners and is well worth a visit. All in all there is so much to choose from.
