In one French word - 'Superb'! The atmosphere and prices are relaxed. But as you would expect with Arnaud & Patrice, two French chefs, the food is 'par excellent'. At L'atmosphere it is all about good food & (...but of course) fine wines! Open Sunday for the dinner from 8th October.

The three ships are a symbol of Waterford's historic maritime importance, and this pub is decorated with memorabilia: as you leave, look for the metal sign warning of a fine of one penny for failing “to fasten the gate†–and make sure you close the door. The high ceilings and seating around the walls make this bar feel larger than it is.

This part of the south west coast of Ireland is dotted with islands, many of which are now uninhabited, perfect for peaceful sailing holidays. Others, including Cape Clear, Sherkin and Heir Islands, have ferry access to the mainland.
The Fastnet Rock, west of Cape Clear, is Ireland's most southerly lighthouse and marks the halfway point in the famous biannual Fastnet Race for yachts.
Castletownshend, Schull, Goleen and Crookhaven are just some of the West Cork towns and villages to which Inishbeg sails on day charters. On weekend sailing holidays, Bantry, Glengarriff and Bere Island are within easy reach. Cruising further north to the Skelligs and Dingle is possible if you have a week or more aboard the yacht.
Your sailing holiday in West Cork, Ireland will be aboard Inishbeg, a brand new Bavaria 50, the flagship of the Bavaria range. A 50-footer, Inishbeg is designed for comfort and performance. Accommodation on board is luxurious and the safety, communications and navigation technology is top of the range.

This delightful Thai restaurant on three stories is a great place for some really good Thai food. The restaurant is situated on the Quay in Waterford and is almost directly opposite the bus station. It is also just five minutes walk from the train station and is therefore an ideal place to eat if you're travelling to or from the City. The view from the window seats is of the river and it's pleasant to sit there and watch the boats as you eat. The interior decor is wonderful - a great mix of stripped stone walls, heavy wood, and Thai upholstery and authentic ornamentation. On the second storey there's a wonderful canopied love seat with silk-covered cushions where you'd love to languish with your lover anjoying a Mai Thai special coffee.
