We stayed at The Blonde at La Frette or La Frette Farm as some people call it and we ate at their hotel restaurant “The Blonde Hedgehog” I have left a review on La Frette Farm, and just to confirm, everything was perfect and we will be staying again in the future. The farm is self catering and has a superb kitchen that is very well equipped, so if you prefer to do your own cooking its not a problem. The cuisine served up at the hotel restaurant is fabulous, so even if you do your own catering, I would suggest eating here at least once to enjoy the experience.

Stayed here on a work trip and was very well looked after. The food and the rooms were superb as were the staff. Love the photos on here, they actually do the hotel justice.

This had only just opened last time we were here just before the covid outbreak, and we are so pleased that it survived the pandemic crisis. It is pretty high end food and service with a very relaxed atmosphere. See you next next time V & S xx

The Blonde Hedgehog. never visited Alderney before, and was never on my bucket list. However COVID stopped our overseas traveling and Alderney was one of the destination's available. It was one of the best holidays we've had and the Blonde Hedgehog was our favourite bar and restaurant. Hope to see you soon.

Wow, this place wasn't here last time we visited Alderney, so its pretty newand a great addition to the Alderney hospitality. Plenty of choice on the menu and the service is good. It has a really good vibe to it and somewhere we will visit again. we may stay at the hotel.

We have been reminiscing about our favourite destinations whilst we have been locked down here in England. Alderney is right up there in the top 3 and we would like to comment on the businesses that we found on our holiday,that made the trip more enjoyable and the Blonde Hedgehog had only recently opened when we arrived on the island and it was pretty obvious to us that no expenses hadf been spared in the renovation and decor.
As we said it had pretty much just opened when we ate there, and ok, there were a few teathing problems that are expected when a new business opens with new staff etc. However all the staff were very helpful and we were made to feel very welcome. We are really looking forward to coming here again hopefully in June/July Covid permitting.

Fantastic new restaurant/ hotel. No expense spared here in the decor or anything else. Very welcoming staff and a very relaxing atmosphere.It has had a complete refurb, but lost none of its character. Plenty of seating both inside and out. A very welcome addition to Alderneys eating and sleeping services.
