We stayed at The Blonde at La Frette or La Frette Farm as some people call it and we ate at their hotel restaurant “The Blonde Hedgehog” I have left a review on La Frette Farm, and just to confirm, everything was perfect and we will be staying again in the future. The farm is self catering and has a superb kitchen that is very well equipped, so if you prefer to do your own cooking its not a problem. The cuisine served up at the hotel restaurant is fabulous, so even if you do your own catering, I would suggest eating here at least once to enjoy the experience.

We have been reminiscing about our favourite destinations whilst we have been locked down here in England. Alderney is right up there in the top 3 and we would like to comment on the businesses that we found on our holiday,that made the trip more enjoyable and the Blonde Hedgehog had only recently opened when we arrived on the island and it was pretty obvious to us that no expenses hadf been spared in the renovation and decor.
As we said it had pretty much just opened when we ate there, and ok, there were a few teathing problems that are expected when a new business opens with new staff etc. However all the staff were very helpful and we were made to feel very welcome. We are really looking forward to coming here again hopefully in June/July Covid permitting.
